Nineteenth Century Charitable Association distributes grants to 15 local not-for-profit organizations

Fifteen local not-for-profit organizations received grants at the Association's opening program and tea on Monday, Oct. 7. Applications for a project of their choice are submitted in early summer, with the grant awards confirmed in August.

The following organizations received awards: Tutoring, Forest Park Food Pantry, Historical Society of OPRF, Holiday Food & Gift Basket Progrm, Oak Leyden Deveelopmental Services, OPRF Day Nursery, Oak Park Education Foundation, OPRF Food Pantry, OPRF Infant Welfare Society, Parenthesis Family Center, PING!, Rising Readers Club, Sarah's Inn, THRIVE Counseling Center and West Suburban PADS.
