BRAVO will present Bugsy Malone, Jr in the Gwendolyn Brooks Auditorium, February 1-2!
BRAVO has the distinct honor of piloting Bugsy Malone, Jr. for Music Theater International!
Based on the 1976 film, Bugsy Malone is a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the gangster films of the 1920's. The popular pint-sized, pin-striped classic leaps off the silver screen and onto the stage. Like the film, this wild and wacky musical includes a child's dream come true: a classic pie fight fought with "splurge blasters!"
Bugsy Malone follows the rivalry between two half-witted street gangs and the washed up, well- intentioned, one-time boxer, Bugsy Malone, who steps in to take control of Fat Sam's gang and give Dandy Dan and his boys what they've got coming….a pie in their face!
With a catchy, swinging score, you are sure to be singing along!
Come and see this fun & adorable musical! A group of 50 - 6th grade performers will grace the stage in this slap-stick musical comedy.
Bring the whole family to see this musical done in a way that only BRAVO can deliver.
Bugsy Malone Jr. Performances:
February 1 at 7pm
February 2 at 3pm
Tickets:
$7 for children, students and seniors
$9 for adults
Tickets can be purchased in advance on the BRAVO website at oakpark.revtrak.net (web orders), or call the BRAVO box office at 708-524-5621.
