This year's Girls' Choice Dance at Mann Elementary School had a Hollywood theme, with parents encouraged to wear formal attire and each student getting their own "walk of fame" star.

Justthefacts, I don't see the problem with a dance like this (which I did not attend, though I did go to several Daddy-Daughter dances when my kids were younger). Could you expand on how this is an example of Narcissism or entitlement?

This is really too much! Oak Parkers should run, not walk, to the Oak Park Public Library and check out the book "The Narcissism Epidemic: Living in the Age of Entitlement" by Jean M. Twenge and W. Keith Campbell. It really captures the recent bizarre behavior of Oak Parkers.
