In 2003, Andrea began her exploration of sumi-e, the Japanese (and Chinese) art of ink and brush painting. She centers her work in the Japanese design aesthetic while choosing the subjects she knows from direct experience%u2014her garden plants, birds attracted to her feeders and her two cats.
