Snowbotics youth workshop

A soldering workshop for youth on Saturdays, Nov. 16 and Dec. 7. Snowbotics is an innovative, hands-on workshop open to youth ages 8 to 14 that allows them to learn about and experience the engineering technology field first-hand. Students will create their own soldering electronics project in Triton's fabrication laboratory with guidance from Triton instructors Andrea Blaylock and Antigone Sharris and students of Triton's Engineering Technology program as well as students from Proviso Mathematics and Science Academy's Monty Pythons robotics team. 1 to 4:30 p.m. both days in Triton's Industrial Careers Building (T-Building). The cost is $30 per youth, per workshop date. Spots are limited. Students will also be able to take their creations home.
