Roy Olsen Pastapalooza
Friday, September 30th

It's not just dinner, it's an event! We've got bingo, face painting, crafts, music, balloon animals and more! Dinner includes: pasta, marinara sauce, meatballs, salad, bread, fruit, coffee & water. Seconds are on us! Additional drinks and desserts are available for purchase. Purchase tickets at the Pav YMCA.

Dolly & Me Tea Party

Tuesday, October 4th
Bring your favorite doll and come join the Park District for a classy afternoon on the veranda overseeing the park. It's time to get all dressed up and drink some beverages while snacking on delicious treats. We will dance, play a few games, and even create a craft. Don't miss the chance to have a play date with your favorite girlfriend! Ages 2-5.

Scarecrow Festival

Friday, October 7th
Autumn adventures abound at Scarecrow Festival! Dozens of whimsical, clever creations convene along the tree-lined paths in Lincoln Park, downtown St. Charles, for the annual Scarecrow Festival this autumn. Join the Park District as we take a trip to St. Charles for one of the favorite family events in the Midwest! All Ages welcome.

Our mission statement at Coveny Lane is to bring beauty to the world. We are entering out 10th year and hope you feel this has been accomplished. This fall and winter we are focusing on capes, scarves, purses, gold wedding rings, sterling silver items, and fun jewelry. We are getting in beautiful soaps, candles, and the best diffusers to be found anywhere as well as a few new food items and ornaments and gorgeous art glass Our new items for fall should mostly be in by Sat. Oct. 15. The 5% off sale has been running for a while now and will conclude Sat. Oct. 8. We will have many items to delight you. Hope to see you soon.

Mary Poppins

Saturday, October 15th
One of the most popular Disney movies of all time is capturing hearts in a whole new way: as a hit Broadway Musical! Join the Park District as we experience all of the classic songs and show-stopping numbers. Believe in the magic of Mary Poppins and discover a world where anything can happen if you let it. The fee provides transportation to theatre and ticket. All ages welcome.

Halloween Fear Home Makeover Contest

Thursday, October 27th
This year the Park District of Forest Park will be holding its 8th annual Holiday Home Makeover Contest. The best decorated houses in Forest Park will receive FREE pool passes for up to four family members. What a great way to beat next summer's heat?

On October 27th, the Park District of Forest Park Commissioners and staff will serve as judges and drive through the Village to determine the winners. In order to be considered you must register your address with the Park District office. Factors being considered are: curb appeal, creativity, use of theme, place, use of yard and house and originality. Families may win once every three years.


Halloween Happenings

We're up to our old tricks with new treats this year! Come in costume and experience our carnival games, haunted house, bounce house and more!

Sonny Acres Pumpkin Patch

Saturday, October 29th
During the month of October the celebration of harvest time spreads over a large area of Sonny Acres. Decorated with mountainous piles of pumpkins, you will discover a farm market, spook house, rides and all kinds of Halloween displays and attractions scattered about. Trip includes transportation and the patch is free admission. All ages welcome.
