Art on Harrison presents "The Art & Music Festival" on Friday, 9/21 from 6 - 10pm and again on Saturday from 11 - 8pm.  It runs all along Harrison Street from Ridgeland to Austin in Oak Park.  It's an indoor and outdoor festival with all kinds of food, music and dancing, children's activies, and , of course, art and artists.  See www.oakparkartsdistrict.com for a complete schedule.  

Two award-winning singer-songwriters make their appearance at Dominican University, 7900 W. Division in River Forest on Saturday, 9/22 at 7:30pm.  Come hear "Loudon Wainwright III and Dar Williams" perform.  In the meantime, sample the attached clips to see what they are about.  Tickets and details at www.dom.edu/pac or 708-488-5000.

Here's another folksy event taking place at Unity Temple, 875 Lake St. in Oak Park at 7:30pm on Saturday, 9/22.  It's the "100,000 Poets, Artists & Musicians for Change" event.  You'll see Anna Stange, folksinger, Gregorio Gomez, poet, Jack Rossiter-Munley, roots, rock & blues musician, and many more.  Tickets at the door or at brownpapertickets.com .  Proceeds to benefit four local non-profits.  

Finally, on Sunday, 9/23 from noon - 5pm, it's the "Annual Historic Berwyn's Bungalow Tour" of six homes, inside and out.  Tourists may walk, bike, or ride between stops.  Get tickets at a variety of merchants.  See berwynhistoricalsociety.org for all details.
