It's called the oldest and biggest celebration of its kind - "The Chicago Air & Water Show".  Come see it along the beautiful lakefront from Fullerton Avene to Oak Street with North Avenue Beach as the focal point.  This Free Event runs Saturday, August 18 and Sunday, August 19 from 10am - 3pm.  More details are available at www.explorechicago.com .

On Sunday, August 19 you can get tickets for "Wright Ride".  It's your architechtural bike tour of Frank Lloyd Wright's significant homes in Oak Park.  Various routes are available.  Information at the Oak Park Visitors' Center, 1010 Lake Street and www.visitoakpark.com .

Or, you may want to spend Sunday at the "Watch Chains & Lace: Steampunk Chicago" event being held at Oak Park's beautiful Pleasant Home, 217 Home.  From 5:30 - 7pm, there'll be live music, an art exhibit, and a "tea".  Get all the details at www.steampunkchicago.com .
