Come tour the 18th Annual Oak Park - River Forest Garden Walk on Saturday, June 25 from 9:30am to 3:30pm.  You'll see eight beautiful gardens including those for sun, for shade, tropical, secret, and some very special garden ornaments.  If you want to do the tour on bike, Oak Park's Greenline Wheels is offering a $10 bike rental to ticketholders.  Get your tickets and more information at www.gcoprf.org or call 708-725-2461.  Also see Greenline for their offer at www.greenlinewheels.com .  On Sunday, June 26 from 1 -5pm, rain or shine, it's the Riverside Garden Club who is showing off seven gardens, each with a different party theme. Tickets for this event can be requested by calling 708-442-1778 or by emailing sheila_@att.net.  

Now for the music!  What could be more fun than Concordia University's annual Patriotic Pops Concert and Ice Cream Social. This annual event takes place at 6:30pm on Saturday, June 25 on the pillar's lawn in front of Addison Hall, 7400 Augusta St. in River Forest.  The concert is Free, and you are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs.  Refreshments, including ice cream, box lunches and so forth will be for sale at minimal costs.  Scoville Park Summer Concerts continue on Sunday, June 26th from 5:30 - 7pm at the intersection of Oak Park Ave. and Lake St. with this week's Free concert, featuring the Motown Sound of seven Chicago natives - Soul Cookin.  Again, bring a blanket or chair and enjoy the fun.
