On Friday, 3/15 starting at 6pm go to the "Third Friday Gallery Walk"  in the Oak Park Arts District.  It's an at-your-own-pace viewing of the many galleries and artistic shops in the area which runs from Ridgeland to Austin all along Harrison St. Free Event. .  You may also want to dine at one of the great restaurants in the district.

Beginning on Friday, 3/15 and running through Sunday, 3/17 with Friday & Saturday performances at 7:30pm and Saturday & Sunday performances at 3pm,
is performed at the Madison Street Theatre, 1010 Madison in Oak Park.  This is a "Friendraising Event" you'll want to be part of.  The play explores the funny and touching experiences of middle school, and there's a live band playing a rock score.  "13" is a funny, high-energy musical for all ages.  Get info and tickets at .  This weekend only, so get your reservations by calling 708-524-1892.

On Saturday, 3/16 at Noon take the el to the "Chicago's St. Patrick's Day Parade"
.  It runs from Columbus Drive to Balbo and Monroe.  Get details at .

Saturday, 3/16 at 3pm you can see "The Fuzz & the Fury"
concert by Chicago's blues-funk-soul-rock band at the main Oak Park Library.  It's a Free Event with details at .

Later on Saturday at 7:30pm, you may enjoy  the "Third Saturday Coffee House" at Unity Temple, 875 Lake St. in Oak Park is all acoustic, open-mike.  Come hear "Ring Shout" playing jazz, bebop, and more.  Donations are appreciated. Info at 708-660-9376.
