This Monday, 2/25 at 7pm, come hear "Ben Bedford" perform.  He was named one of the 50 most significant folk singer-songwriters of the past 50 years, by WFMT-Chicago.  That puts him in the company of Dylan, Collins, and Prine!  He'll share his music and insights into the American way of life with its ups and downs.  See the attached video of "What We Lost", and hear him at the main Oak Park Library.  More details can be found at www.oppl.org .  Free Event.  

How about seeing 40 films beginning on Friday, 3/1 through 3/3 at various sites in Oak Park, River Forest, Forest Park, and Chicago?  You can when you come to the "One Earth Film Festival, 2013" put together by our local Green Community Connections.  It's a Free Event for most screenings but donations are happily accepted and encouraged.  The films focus on our environment and q & a will follow.  Get all of the details at www.oneearthfilmfest.org and check the YouTube channel for sneak previews.   

On Sunday, 3/3 at 4pm, come to Dominican University for the performance of "Celestial Journey" by the Oak Park and River Forest Symphony.  Get tickets at www.dom.edu/pac
