It's the Oak Park Arts Districts "Third Friday Gallery Walk" on 12/16 starting at 6pm.  Come see the decor, meet the artists, dine in a great restaurant, and maybe pick-up that special gift.  See www.oakparkartsdistrict.com for details.  

Saturday, 12/17 at 7:30pm and on Sunday, 12/18 at 4:30pm, kick-off the season with Intuit Dance Company's performance of the "Nutty Nutcracker".  Performance is at Gwendolyn Brooks Middle School, 325 S. Kenilworth in Oak Park.  Call 524-0500 for tickets or get them at the door.  This is a contemporary performance of a holiday classic. 

Also, on Saturday, 12/17 at 10am the wonderful Lake Theater has a gift for you - a Free showing of "Polar Express".  See www.classiccinemas.com for more details.
