As you are creating your holiday story, why not visit one of the hidden gems in our area -The 16th Street Theater over at the Berwyn Cultural Center, 6420 16th St. "Our Holiday Stories" is currently playing through December 4, on Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30pm and on Saturdays at 5pm and again at 8pm. Three wonderful, and local, female writers - award-winners all, Elizabeth Berg, Rohina Malik, and Tanya Saracho share their memories with you. Are you in the mood for a great dinner and a seasonal show? Come to another gem in our area on Saturday, November 26, Sawa"s Old Warsaw, at 9200 W. Cermak (that's 22nd street). This place has been an eating institution for a very long time. You'll eat 'till you pop! Its their Jazz Christmas Show with Monika Herzig, Heather Ramsey, and special guests at 7pm. Maybe, EastGate Cafe at 102 Harrison St. in the Oak Park Arts District is the place for your musical and dining pleaure. On Friday, November 25th from 6 - 10pm, Jay Einhorn performs.
