Heritage Choral is proud to perform "Essentially American" for your pleasure on Friday, Nov. 19th at 8:00 pm and on Sunday, Nov. 21st at 3:00 pm.  This program features jewels from American composers such as Randall Thompson's "Frostian" which is based upon the works of Robert Frost, and you'll hear folk songs and spirituals by Aaron Copland, Alice Parker, Stephen Paulus and more.  This 50-voice community choir led by Artistic Director, Maurice Boyer is always a favorite.  Tickets at 708-848-9066 and at www.heritagechorale.com with special pricing for seniors, college students and no charge for students through high school.  The concerts are held at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 460 Lake St. in Oak Park.

Thanks for posting these events. My family is always on the look-out for new and interesting things to do close to home. It's nice to have someone do the research and have the info at our fingertips!
