On Saturday, 1/12 from Noon - 3pm, come to the "Health Starts Here Passport Fair" at River Forest's Whole Foods Market, 7245 Lake Street.  Stop by and sample healthy recipies in every department.  Whole Foods is offering a free, online 14-day healthy eating challenge and, if you particpate in the event, you may win a $99 Basic Healthy Pantry Makeover.  It's a Free Event with more details at www.wholefoodsmarket.com .

Later that evening from 7 - 10pm, Unity Temple, 875 Lake Street, is the site for the "Sugar Beets Membership Kick-off Party & Winter's Eve Market".  Come by and learn about this co-op and shop local vendors with many good-for-you items.  There'll be live jazz, wine and beer, snacks, and even home movies from the co-op.  Tickets are available at www.sugarbeetscoop.com

On Sunday, 1/13 the Forest Park Library at 7555 Jackson Blvd. invites you to a Free Event at 2pm.  "Learn to Cook Dim Sum" with Chef Andrew Comens.  Please register in advance since space is limited.  Call 708-366-7171 or go to www.fppl.org
